Project Description:

Completed in 2024 in collaboration with Parkeray for the Ark (Absolute Return for Kids) charity, the new Ark headquarters at Edcity in White City spans 30,000 sq. ft. across four floors.

PDG was commissioned to complete Stage 3 and Stage 4 works, delivering a contemporary Category B fit-out, which included:

• Level 00: A reception area, coworking space, café, staged theatre, and ante-room event space, all connected by a new accommodation staircase leading to Level 01.

• Levels 01 & 02: State-of-the-art training rooms, modern open-plan workspaces, meeting rooms, and welfare facilities.

• Level 09: A state of the art event space set within a coworking and event facility, featuring a café/bar and meeting suite.

The contemporary finishes required a highly considered acoustic design integrated throughout the build. From partition walls to bespoke joinery linings and furniture systems which along with suspended baffle and timber ceiling systems were detailed to deliver the sound reflectance values.
